Colombian luxury label Agua Bendita marks a luminous milestone with its Summer 2025 collection, Diez Veranos—a chromatic celebration of ten summers spent weaving artistry, memory, and Colombian savoir-faire into swimwear.

The brand, co-founded by Catalina Álvarez and Mariana Hinestroza in 2003, has always fused tradition with innovation. But this season, it goes further: reflecting on a decade of creative freedom and the women who have animated their vision.

“Each piece is a canvas of cultural heritage and human touch,” said Álvarez in an official press statement. “This is our homage to ten summers and the soul of craftsmanship.”

A Decade Etched in Print and Thread

The Diez Veranos collection comprises ten thematic drops, each exploring a different narrative thread while collectively forming a visual tapestry of memory and motion. From the vivid geometry of ‘Zuk’, inspired by Persian textile markets, to ‘Meraki’, a capsule rooted in soulful creation, the collection spans global influence without losing its Colombian heart.

Pieces like the embroidered ‘Lolita Bikini Top’ and the high-leg ‘Tammy Bikini Bottom’ encapsulate the brand’s signature balance of structure and sensuality.

Handcrafted by Women, For Women

At the soul of every Agua Bendita collection lies a community of over 500 female artisans across Colombia. Their intricate embroidery, often hand-stitched from home, imbues each garment with a sense of individuality and social consciousness.

This isn’t fast fashion; it’s a quiet revolution of slow, meaningful luxury.

This is not mass-market swimwear; this is an ode to handwork, to the quiet luxury of the analogue. Or, as Vogue wrote in 2024, “the rare label committed to making truly pretty pieces… elegant florals and playful elements like tiny ruffles on a high-waist two-piece.”

Color, Culture, and Conscious Design

Diez Veranos also signals a deeper shift towards sustainability. Many fabrics in the 2025 collection are crafted using recycled polyester blends, and the brand continues to invest in low-waste practices and local sourcing. These aren’t trends—they are cornerstones of the brand’s ethos.

From Cartagena to Mykonos, Tulum to Côte d’Azur, these pieces are crafted for women who dress with intent—global citizens who balance aesthetics and ethics with grace.

Legacy in Motion

With Diez Veranos, Agua Bendita doesn’t just look back—it glides forward. It honors the past while celebrating the contemporary woman: bold, culturally attuned, and unafraid of detail.

In a world rushing toward digital replication, this collection is a love letter to the analogue, the handmade, the slow. Ten summers later, Agua Bendita remains not only relevant but revelatory.
